I've been looking all around the internet to find a bootable cd that can run the mcafee antivirus. After testing several tips, I was finally able to create a bootable cd with mcafee antivirus in it. The bootable cd is made using BartPE and Mcafee Command Line Scanner. The virus definitions included were on May 16, 2011.
The download is split into 3 files, so you have to download all 3 parts before you can extract the iso file. You can then burn the iso file into a CD.
Use the following command to scan your drive:
scan x: /all /clean /sub /recursive /nc
where x is your drive letter. But first, you have to change directory to where the scan.exe program is. For example, if your cd drive is D, and you want to scan drive C, run the following commands in the command prompt:
d:
cd\programs\mcafee
scan c: /all /clean /sub /recursive /nc
